Renewal policy option: waive dues for x months
The use case is an organization seeks to waive dues for the upcoming month for a month, say August. This means that the membership will not receive any notice of an amount due and will not see a “Membership renewal overdue” in the lower righthand corner of the browser window.
Prior to the following month, September, the pre-set dues communication and collection process would resume.
I could see this being an option under the Renewal policy tab. “Waive renewal for X months"

The easiest option would be to move the renewal dates one month forward for affected members. You can do this in bulk via exporting members list and importing it with updated renewal dates.
