Enhance WA WordPress plugin and Improve User Role Mapping
Hi Wild Apricot,
There are a number of requests in the wishlist to enhance WA-WordPress Integration:

Some of these go back years.
Is there any chance the WA WordPress plugin can undergo a major upgrade to include these?
Also here is one more (it resolves a number of the above requests):
The current mapping of WA User to WordPress Role is a little 'monolithic'. It would be great if the WA plugin provided a capability to map WA Users to WordPress Roles with greater granularity.
In wp-admin > Settings > Wild Apricot Login, add the ability to map WA Users to WordPress Roles based on a set of logic patterns:
Map WA User to WordPress Role = value if:
- has 'Membership Level' = value, and/or
- is member of 'WA Group' = value, and/or
- 'Status' = value, and/or
- etc
This would provide from a simple need, example: map all Users to the Role 'Subscriber' to combinations more complex. Note: WordPress supports multiple roles.

We made a new plugin called Wild Apricot Press which has a lot of features the old plugin lacks. We also added native member directory support and have future plans to totally replace the website module with wordpress but keep the single source of truth in Wild Apricot.
The beta is free!

We have implemented a way to create custom member directories from 1 or more Wild Apricot sites with our WAWP plugin. Visit https://waxm.newpathconsulting.com/wawp to download the WordPress plugin.
