Poll a subset of contacts or members (e.g. by status, zip code)
I'd like the ability to poll a subset of members, using an list generated by an advanced contact search. For example, it would be helpful to be able to have a new-member poll or a poll of members in certain zipcodes.

the poll feature could be targeted to specific members of the club if it allowed for the use of saved searches (from both members and contacts) along with member groups.
at the end of the day, a list of members is only that - a list. and whether that list is created using a member group or a saved search - it's still only a list that will be used with the poll.
However, the granularity of that list, now that's what makes the list important and poll results extremely useful.

I would also like this ability. We already use the saved contact or saved member searches to send out targeted emails. Being able to use these lists for polling would be a great feature.

polls for non-members

This is an extremely important issue. We have many people in "suspended" member status for failure to keep dues current. It's important that we exclude these individuals when polling members.

Would like to be able to restrict poll not just by member level, but member status, too. For example, when using polling for an election, we need for only active (current paid) members to be eligible to participate. Those that are "pending renewal" haven't paid and thus should not be able to participate until they've done so. Being able to restrict this way would also encourage members to pay their dues.

I would like to poll people that registered for an event and not the entire membership

Please make polls by membership criteria. For example we have elections for president, secretary etc. for all members, but then need elections in the same poll for just specific Regions for our state. It would be helpful to accomplish this in one poll. Also we need to be able to edit the poll after saved.
