Hope that this suggestion will get a second look by WA and more votes to move it up. The photo album feels completely slap-dash an out of date. Images engage members, but when the mechanism is this clunky...it's an opportunity missed.

We send out our 20-page newsletters/activity list as a pdf link, because of the inflexible WA templates and slow, frustrating experience of formatting. The email/newsletter tools aren't up to contemporary standards.

Could you please elaborate on your idea? What kind of menu do you want to see? Should it be different from tap panel at the bottom of the app?

The main idea is just: Give people a more attractive welcome to the app.
My suggestion is a quadrant of 4 fun, colorful graphics—in the style of your logo. Each illustrates one menu items.

I merged another very similar thread into this one, they should be solved together – the registration to multiple events should be simple and fast if possible. There are a number of suggestions in comments on how to achieve this.
Make it possible for limited administrators (like the membership or events admin) to have read-only access to the entire site.
This would be helpful in resolving questions about records, and also for training.
