Tiered membership database
Our Chamber of Commerce is a world-wide organisation and I'm testing out WildApricot in our local chapter.
I believe it would provide massive value to our members if we can someone consolidate our member database across the globe so our members can connect with other members abroad more readily.
Ideally, you'd have a master admin from the top level and then have various tiers/levels that can be assigned a separate admin.
Our structure is something like:
World
Country/Continent
States
Cities
Might be a bit far fetched, but you don't know unless you ask!

I'm part of a similar organization - we have local groups, regions, and all roll up into a national group.
My sense is that local groups can be managed as bundles quite effectively, which creates a type of membership admin. But it would be very useful to be able to limit membership, events, page admins etc. by region. National level would be served by existing functionality.
There is another dimension of this: an efficient way to manage overlapping management or board roles since a single person can hold multiple jobs and at multiple levels. There needs to be an easy way to show them in a directory with the right title for each group. This is a one to many application that doesn`t appear to be supported currently.
Visibility - pages, events, forums, directories etc - can be controlled by group memberships and tags. But restricting admin to a region is functionally different.

Thanks for your suggestion. While it's not a near term priority we will be exploring ways to assist umbrella organizations better. The main suggestion we get is to roll up reporting rather than communications, but I can see the value in that for a chamber of commerce.

As I understand you want to organize kind of hierarchy of administrators, right? But what does it mean for you? Different privileges or they will administrate different group of members? Is it about your local chapter or several chapters around the world?
