Event Email Announcement
Currently event email announcements can only be scheduled at the time of the event. So if it is an 8pm event, the schedule email will go out at 8pm. While that might be convenient default it makes no sense. It is important to send announcements when you want.

Yes! Just because we have an event scheduled for the evening, doesn't mean we want an event reminder to go out after hours. We need the flexibility to send reminders out whichever time of day we determine is best.
