Event registration for non-contacts
Is it possible to register to an event without registering to the database and becoming a contact?
We organize a unique event for a larger public, and we will have many contacts that we won't need later.
But we also need to manage all registrations in one system.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Contact is required to relate event registration, invoice and sent emails to it. The only workaround of you is to archive contacts after the event.

I would like to also add that it would be helpful to be able to register people for an event without them effecting the contact list that reflects the price point for our organization. Having to pay for more contacts because of one larger sized event is a substantial cost that is hard for small organizations to afford. If there is a way to accept registrations for non-members, and have just members as listed contacts, while still being able to email, etc. event registrants the same as contacts that would be really helpful.
