Braintree payment gateway support. They have an excellent deal for non-profits, either:
Your first $50k in card processing for free, then 2.9% + $0.30/transaction
or
A nonprofit rate of 2.2% + $0.30/transaction

Our association would like to take advantage of this special rate, but need WA to support Braintree payments.

Thank you for posting and sharing your feedback with us.
Adding a new gateway doesn’t align with our current focus for the product. Supporting each payment systems takes time and resources away from our development and support teams to provide the better, more reliable service.
We are going to archive the idea, but please, continue to share your feedback!

We do not support Braintree integration at the moment, and do not have any immediate plans for this. Unfortunately, only we can make an integration - it's not a plug-in.
As for using other payment services - I would recommend trying out our own payment gateway, that we're planning to release in a month. It has comparable fees and event better, we will provide full support for processing payments in Wild Apricot.
We'll send out an announcement about this closer to the release.

1) We are interested in using Braintree to accept payments on our website with your company. However, Braintree is not listed. Can we get a developer to build a custom solution using Braintree’s open API to integrate to our Wild Apricot website?
2) Do any of your partners offer a payment service that is comparable to Braintree?.
3) Are or would your company consider adding Braintree to your list of payment providers?

Braintree provides similar functionality as Paypal Payments Pro, but in countries where PPP is unavailable. We'd also like to see BT integration, as we use it elsewhere and don't want a second payment gateway just to use WA.
