Need more detail on transactions
For PayPal payments, I would like to be able to capture more detail for individual transactions. For example, for event registration, we will sometimes have the ability to donate to the organization. When Wild Apricot reports the transaction to PayPal, I cannot get the breakdown of the conference registration and donation amounts--only the lump sum. Can you make it possible for me to capture this information on PayPal?

We cannot do this within the single transaction, because, PayPal has fixed format for transaction details that we cannot modify.
The only place where we could enter this information is one of the comments fields. But changing any of the comments will ruin other clients' automated workflows, based on contents of these fields, so this is not an option either.Actually, I consider your problem as a drawback of our reporting system, so we will try to address this when we start working on new reports. At the moment you can use event registration fields report for this — it contains all necessary information, but not in the best form for reconciliation.

I need to be able to get invoice details into my PayPal transaction. We hold an annual event (a conference) and many members will renew their membership and make an additional donation to our organization when they register for the conference. I need to break this detail out when reconciling my accounts so that I can accurately record revenues. Please provide this detail soon!
