In addition to "us" getting a commission for referring a new customer to you, I'd like an incentive for the people using the referral link. A free 30-day trial isn't anything different to what they can get themselves, so there's little incentive for anyone to bother using our referral code.
Even if you made it so the trial was 45 days or 60 days - that doesn't really cost you anything but might be enough incentive for someone to use a referral link vs doing it directly themselves.

I would like the option for my members to earn a recurring commission from the members that they refer to my organization. As an example, if my membership fee is $50 per month, I'd like to pay a recurring monthly percentage commission to the member that referred the new member.

It would be a simple "Refer a Friend " link. When their friend joins, they receive a recurring commission that is a percentage of the monthly membership fee.

So far, my best idea to implement this is to provide a specific coupon code to someone looking to be an affiliate, then check later on that coupon later, and apply an discount to that users next invoice. Something like that -- but it's more complicated than a full affiliate/referral program

Pre-Filled Fields for Membership Referral Program.

We're exploring the ability to incentivize our members to get others to join our organization.

We want the ability to keep track of referrals by members. One way we've thought this is possible would be to have the member ID be the referral code. What would be nice is a link generator exists for members, this would create the link with a memRefID parameter with a value that is equal to their memberid. When a potential member navigates to the sign up page with that memRefID, a referral field would be pre-filled and grayed out and submitted into a new field within the database.

We then could run monthly reporting to figure out who receives the referral rewards.

When you get to that tab, we are presently using "Hello Referrals" to accomplish our Business Referrals to send new business to our members. If WildApricot had such a module, we could integrate this module in under Wild Apricot. Until then, we have to have two logins.

Basically, we need the functionality of:

1) Sending and Tracking Business Referrals with contact information and estimated dollar values.

2) Scheduling Intra-Chapter One-to-One Business Meetings.

3) Reporting Intra-Chapter referral numbers such as how many referrals, one-to-one's and dollar values of referrals.

Need this for events. I am having to use Eventbrite's affiliate program which provides a unique tracking link for each referral source. I just added a custom referral code field, which will be OK but not automatic.

this would be awesome. I'd like for members to be able to refer new potential members and receive credit on their own membership as well as the new member receiving a credit or discount. Like x% or $20 off each account for the next month. Or credits toward future payments.

Add a Referral System for Each Chapter:

1) Need the ability for our members to refer each other clients
2) Needs the ability to track estimated dollar value of the referral
3) Needs the ability to choose a member to refer the lead to and the source member of the referral.
4) Needs the ability for each chapter to report total dollars referred and the ability to show each member's referred dollar amount.

I COMPLETELY AGREE! We want to offer 20% referral to our team or members that bring new members on. It seems like it could be a fairly simple solution to add. Could we get someone to write a code for this?

Our Club is by recommendation. There is no option to to mark by which member somebody got the invitation to join the Club. Recommendation reporting should be also added. Very useful for club who have referral programs.

I'm requesting that Wild Apricot offer an automated referral system that my members can use to send me other paying members and get a commission for doing so. If there's already such a system that is accessible, please let me know ASAP.
