Why work so hard to make your product less useful? Please restore this basic feature ASAP, or allow use of the previous editor. I just spent 30 minutes pasting (I copy emails from Outlook due to WA text formatting bugs) that would have taken 5 minutes with the old editor. The extra work included: selecting from various inadequate layouts, adding multiple additional layouts and context gadgets, adjusting the layout cells to remove default padding, cutting and copying text (several times) to balance the columns. What a complete waste of time this is to generate an inferior looking email. If this continues, I'm going to have to use a 3rd party email system. I was thinking about this anyway with billing by (limitation) of email contacts, rather than active/members. Sad.

An error occurred while saving the comment John Batdorf commentedYes, of course contact/member fields entered/edited during registrations should update the contact/member record, or at least provide the option. As it is, I have to import the fields for every event, so member directories show the updated info. I use these lists for event sponsors/exhibitors and they are not happy when a past event's info shows up. To have updated info all the time, I would have to do this after every registration. I'm at a loss to understand what the purpose of allowing contact/member fields entry in registrations and not using the updates. This is a glaring lack of data integrity, by allowing the same field to contain duplicate or conflicting information. I wish when WA had a design flaw, it would address it as serious bug rather than a wishlist item. :-(

An error occurred while saving the comment John Batdorf commentedNeed this for events. I am having to use Eventbrite's affiliate program which provides a unique tracking link for each referral source. I just added a custom referral code field, which will be OK but not automatic.

An error occurred while saving the comment John Batdorf commentedI have to say as much as I like Wild Apricot, its communication features seem disjointed (i.e. Sent Emails are in Settings) or lacking. A major feature of any member management system seems to be the ability to track all communications with the member, including mass and individual emails, phone calls, and regular mail (individual and packages).
An error occurred while saving the comment John Batdorf commentedThis is available or in the works in the CRM systems (NEON & CitySoft) I have used and reviewed (several), but obviously not a big issue until WA emails are tracked.
An error occurred while saving the comment John Batdorf commentedYes, the email tracking would be a great start.
