How are you going to use QR codes on membership cards? Do you expect some additional functionality in WA, which will be able to read and process these codes?
An error occurred while saving the comment Jesse Riddle commentedDefinitely agree, a QR Code or Code 39 Barcode would be extremely helpful at events where validating membership occurs.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jesse Riddle commentedDefinitely interested in making the importing process better. Currently we're a "state" chapter to a national organization who does NOT use Wild Apricot.
If someone in our organization is a paying member for the state chapter, and is also a paying member for national, they are part of our monthly national import. The issue is similar to Larry Killer's, the membership field ends up being updated from a State paid membership to our National Membership which is 'free' in our current system.
The current import logic is too basic for larger / multi-level organizations. It would be very handy to be able to have some custom logic. Maybe create a "Advanced Import", where conditional operators are taken into account.

Old design proposal, not working on it yet and can be changed if we start working on it – https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0f9kMyQqlBsZ3FQOWRiMERRNkk/view?usp=sharing

Even though it is not a direct implementation, I hope this could be helpful:
We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy google calendar events into WA events. So if you share a google calendar for events submission, then the scenario could copy submitted events into your Wild Apricot account.
You can try this integration by this link https://www.integromat.com/en/integration/2275-copy-google-calendar-into-wild-apricot-eventsJesse Riddle supported this idea ·
Pre-Filled Fields for Membership Referral Program.
We're exploring the ability to incentivize our members to get others to join our organization.
We want the ability to keep track of referrals by members. One way we've thought this is possible would be to have the member ID be the referral code. What would be nice is a link generator exists for members, this would create the link with a memRefID parameter with a value that is equal to their memberid. When a potential member navigates to the sign up page with that memRefID, a referral field would be pre-filled and grayed out and submitted into a new field within the database.
We then could run monthly reporting to figure out who receives the referral rewards.
