An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedRobert, thanks for your comment. What do you mean by "1) no checkout if not logged in"? And then again "1) public".. I'm afraid I can't understand.

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedThanks for the comment, Elizabeth. What exactly would you like to be customisable in the shopping cart checkout?
And about the taxes and dropdown selections - all of that is currently under development. Coming this year.

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedHi, Randal.
It's not us, Randal. It's the email client's work. We do transform the manually typed or inserted email addresses to 'mailto' links. But if you use macros (just as you do in your templates) then WA pastes the email as is. But the email client makes it clickable on it's side. I'm afraid there is nothing we can do about it. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedThat sounds interesting. Now we are mostly focused on developing rather 'traditional' functionality like product variations or shipping. We'll see if this idea finds support.

Sorry for the late update.
The first step was finished and emails can now be carbon copied to contact’s alternative emails. To do so the contact fields which store the alternative emails must be explicitly marked on the email setting page.
Unsubscribing will unsubscribe all alternative emails simultaneously because they all belong to the very same account. The person clicking “unsubscribe” is warned about this on the unsubscribe page.
For now we paused the development of this feature. but not for good. :) So I’m changing this wish status back to “collecting comments”.
Thank you everyone for a valuable feedback.
An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedVernay, can you elaborate on what you mean by saying that this feature cannot be used?
An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedWalt, thank you for the detailed reply!
For now there is no such thing as an independent email address in WA. Every email belongs to a particular account. We are aware that our current proposal does not solve all of the requests. But we need to start from something.Anyway I see you signed up to participate in usability testing, so I will be able to talk to you in person and hear you out.
An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedHi everyone,
Right now we are in the middle of analysis for “Secondary Email” feature. And we had a plan to come up with the minimum possible solution in order to provide our clients with value in shortest period of time. For that we’ve chosen the most requested functionality - adding secondary email to member contact record. Without any particular additions or settings for now.To sum it up in reply to your questions:
- Secondary email will be available as a new type of custom Membership fields (most probably)
- One email will remain Primary and supposed be used to log in
- Every member is free to edit Primary or Secondary emails in his Profile
- Sorry, no separate opt in or out to and other settings for the first step
We’d like to validate with you our decision. Please fill out this short form to help us understand your needs better - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeacF2AVNgFJO3enSpBlPRMsxSb0xjof2HQ6JO0dmrQgLJPSg/viewform?usp=sf_linkAn error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedWe've merged two big threads because the requests in those threads are very much alike. We have just began the analysis of this feature and most probably the 1st step of development will be adding 1 secondary email per contact record.
Stay tuned for more updates. Cheers! -

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedGreat idea, DeeDee! We also have a similar one.
Jeanne, when you say about switching all automatic emails off you mean switching them for good? Or pause them for fixing some kind of problem?
I'd like to hear more details if possible.

Concurrent membership is not something easy to implement - it would require fundamental redesign of how membership works in WA. However, I have couple of thoughts here that I wanted to hear your feedback on.
As I understand, there are 2 sides of the problem:
1. Collecting additional dues for services. E.g. Member is associate and board member, so you need to collect both dues.
- This can be addressed using our extra fields functionality. Maybe it's a bit clunky, but it should work. E.g. setup associate member as primary membership and add extra charge checkbox for being a board member.
- You can easily filter down any members you need with advances search by that extra field.
2. Setting correct permissions on website pages - here there's no workaround we could suggest, but adding permissions based on saved searches seems to feasable option.
Am I missing something? Will the…
An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedAn individual can belong to multiple membership levels. The individual only has 1 email address. Since we can't have duplicate emails, one of the accounts has to have a fake email address which prevents us from including this person in any email campaigns specific to the second membership level.

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedHi everyone,
We designed a new page in emailing area and collected all email-related settings on it. Would you like to be to try it out?
The test takes about 20 mins and to participate you will need a computer with a webcam and a microphone.Click on the link below to book your testing time:

(if you would like to participate, but timing does not suit you, please contact me by this email husky.crew@wildapricot.com or reply here and I'll give you the link to an unmoderated usability test)Cheers,

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedWe've studied the ideas and comments in this thread and created a prototype to try some of them. If you have some time please check it out here - https://wildapricot.invisionapp.com/share/M2BQA98RT#/screens
Important to know: This is just a prototype, a promo, not a working solution, so be cautious there are only few actions available on the screen.
What exactly changed:
List view instead of tile
More actions on the list
Email templates are now created using email composing wizard
No more thumbnails for nowWe have few questions for you:
Will this workflow be better for you?
Did we miss anything?
Other comments...To leave your feedback please email us at husky.crew@wildapricot.com or add your comments here.
Team Husky shared this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedThanks for your feedback, we are planning to make some changes in custom templates in the future. Tags, folders or something else to better organize mailings is being analyzed.
We have 1 additional question: how do you search your templates? By image or by name? Maybe a list view, not a grid view, is more suitable for custom templates. What do you think?

Thank you for your suggestion.
Frankly speaking, we're planning to redesign custom template view, no timeline confirm yet.By the way, we're conducting user testing of our future prototypes on a regular basis. Would you be interested in participating in such a test?

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedHi Walt,
I’m a designer in Emailing Department Crew in WA and I’d like to answer to our message on behalf of my team.
First of all thank you for attention to WA and for your undying persistency and passionate desire to help. We highly appreciate your advice and we do hope you still have faith in us.As you might know, this year we have an ambitious plan to “pay our customer debt” — our plan to launch as many feature requests from our top wishlist items as we can. For now we already have a complete solution for "Scheduling E-mail Blasts" request (343 votes) which is now awaiting for release and we are in the middle of analysing "Allow Secondary Email" request (290 votes).
Listserv is also on the list but unfortunately there is no update yet. We just have it on a close view.
Thanks for being with us

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedThere is no such functionality yet, but there is another way to do it.
On 13th of March we released new functionality - ability to schedule manual email blasts. It can be used in order to schedule a follow up email (ex. thank you email or feedback collection email) after an event has occurred. To do so follow these 3 steps:
→ 1. Create saved search with event attendees. It can be done by filtering contacts by "checked in" status to this particular event as advised by Ruthi.
→ 2. Compose an email and select your saved search as a contact list. If you have plans to use it often, you might want to create a template instead and have it available in custom templates list.
→ 3. Schedule it for a particular date.
Done. ^___^ Of course it would be easier if the system would do this automatically, but using this workaround will allow you more customisation options. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedHi Paul,
Yes that looks like a bug. Thanks for detecting it!
I'll contact you for details.Kate
Emailing Development teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedHello Martha,
Thanks for kind words.
Actually, the "save" functionality won't be clear as an "autosave" message, because new users don't know where an email will be saved. When you click "save and exit" you are redirected to the draft list so and it obvious that your email is at the top of the list. That's why, in the future, we want to make a smart autosave and some more additional functionality. We want to pay all your attention to the email composing process without being nervous about saving your changes. The system should do it instead of you.
Regards,
Lily

An error occurred while saving the comment Team Husky commentedHello,
Thank you all for your feedback.
The preview step located before the recipient step because we know about formatting problems and there are a lot of users which pay more attention to a correct design appearance of their blast.
We will definitely think what we can do with the order of steps to reduce the number of clicks for test sending.

No, these emails are currently not customisable. But it's good that you mentioned it.
