Better integration of event registration process when embedded into an external site
We would love for Wild Apricot to provide a seamless transition and a more optimal user exerpience. We tried to integrate our website with wild aprioct so we created a wild apricot event link on our personal website. When the user clicks on it they are expecting to register for the event. What is happening is that they register and provide their personal information (member application form for first time users who are registering) and after that it doesn't continue on to register the person for the event. It confirms the profile data and stays on that screen. A more optimal experience can be provided by mirroring what some others (like Eventbrite) do.

Thank you for your reply. Event registration and management websites like Eventbrite are able to complete the registration with less steps. For instance, on our website there is a link to register/log in to wildapricot as well as separate links to register for various events. If an individual clicks on the link to register for the event, they are taken to the wildapricot screen where they need to either register or log in. Once they log in, they then have to go and find the specific event they are looking to register for and then only are able to register. This extra step of having to find the event you want to register for is confusing because the user initially clicked on the event link which they thought would allow them to register. With Eventbrite for instance, you click on a link to register for an event. This takes you to the log in page. Once logged in the system automatically directs you to the specific event itself.

I think I understand your suggestion (i.e. better integration of event registration in external websites), but could you elaborate on what you mean by "mirroring what others do"?
