Support for South African payment gateways (PayAll, SagePay, PayFast, PayU etc.)
Hi there,
We would appreciate it if you could support a South African payment gateway natively. While 2checkout allows credit card payments in ZAR, it does not allow for Electronic Fund Transfer payments, which all the local payment gateways do. For recurring payments, some of the local gateways also allow for debit orders, which we also need.
At the moment, we are planning to integrate into PayAll (which has discounts for NGOs) using the WA API - but this is a bit of a hack and it would be useful to have WA support one or more local payment gateways natively.
Unfortunately, PayPal does not support payments in ZAR in South Africa, and it supports EFTs from only one bank at this stage, so it is not a complete solution (though it is available).
Thanks for your help!

Hi Ryan
Have a look at www.eftsecure.co.za
EFTsecure Gateway is an electronic funds transfer system integrated into all the South African banks. It also provide settlement of funds into a foreign bank account, allowing you to accept EFT payments from South African consumers and have it settled into your foreign bank account.

South African payment portals that would be great as integration :
MyGate - https://mygate.co.za/
Shopify - https://www.shopify.co.za/
Payfast - https://www.payfast.co.za/
Sid Instant EFT - http://sidpayment.com/
Monsterpay - http://www.monsterpay.com/At the moment all Payment portals don't integrate to South African Banks. This poses a problem with Tax and other unneccesary charges.

Paypal does not support the South African Rand as a currency.
Zapper would be an easy safe payment method

Hi Ryan,
What kind of changes in API do you need to implement a required automation?

We have now integrated with PayFast, which offers discounts for non-profits like our residents' association. It would be great if you could offer this natively.
Nonetheless, to the extent that you don't do this, would it be possible to extend your API to include payments for donations?
Thanks!
Ryan
