Create a sign up sheet
It would be very helpful if members were allowed to create sign up sheets for free events, such as the ones used on the "Sign-up Genius" website. Right now, one can create an event and have members register, which works for paid events, but if you are hosting a free event at your club and want members to sign-up to bring items and you want other members to view the sign up sheet in its entirety so that items are not duplicated, it is impossible. Thanks for considering this and I hope other members see the need for such a tool.

We would really like to see a more robust sign up feature similar to Sign Up Genius (SUG.) We use SUG to manage multiple daily events and have to constantly monitor SUG to screen out ineligible signups. We also have to manually upload our member emails on a daily basis. Having the sign up integrated in WA would save us hundreds of volunteer hours. The WA event feature is way too cumbersome to use for events of this nature.

I believe this could be handled by allowing customization of the public Attendee list.
Unless I'm missing something, people can register for an event even if the price is zero.

Invoice is not generated for free events, not sure what you're speaking about. Can you give an example, please?

This would be EXTREMELY helpful for my group as well. We have many free events and often need sign-up lists for a variety of things: food, volunteers, etc.
The problem with making people "register" for these kinds of events is the whole "invoicing" process. If an event is FREE, why should an invoice be needed?
