Hide details in public event view
We want the public to be able to know the date and title of the event but we want to restrict all other details to members only. Is this possible?

For events where visibility is limited:
Event titles only are displayed in calendar view. Members must log in to see details.
If List View is clicked, location information is displayed even to those who are not logged in. This is security problem, since members host events in their homes.
Request that only event dates and names are displayed in list view when event visibility is limited. The alternative is to not allow non-members to see the calendar at all.

One of the main reasons for wanting this feature is that we include the event leaders' personal email address and cell number in the event details. We would like to restrict that info to members only.

Any advance on this request to have events visible to the public, with details visible to members only?

I would like that the public cannot see how many people have registered for an event, nor how many spaces are left for the event. Is that possible on the public view??

When member events are created, the location information is also shared in the public view. This is concerning as this is sensitive information and must not be shared to the general public.
Currently, my work around has been to create events to not display the locations and use filter to display them on my home page to provide as an incentive for prospective members. Can there be an option where I can select what information is to be shared in the public view vs when a member is logged in, especially for location.

We also want to keep a calendar for clubhouse availability, but don't want to clutter up the public calendar with restricted events, committee meetings, etc.
We do this using Tags on the events. Non-public events are tagged "admin" or "private". Public events are tagged "social", "cruise", etc. Then our main calendar shows all public events, and there is a separate calendar, not on our main menu, for all clubhouse uses.
This doesn't do exactly what you're asking but it does reduce what the public sees (unless they dig deep).

For our organization, we would want to show the public that a members-only event was happening on a certain day at a certain time, but not show them all the details of that event, for example. "Member movie night, 7:00-11:00 p.m." or something would be great to show on the public calendar, and that's it. We might also want to show something like "Private event, 6:00-9:00" on the public page, with no details. This helps prospective members see that we are an active organization with lots of member activities, and it also helps people who might want to rent our space quickly see whether the building is already in use.

No, not possible. Why would you need that?
