Charging credit cards for donations in admin view
Currently the ability to charge a credit card for a donation is not available on the admin side. We get calls from members who wish to donate and we can't charge their card for their donation. We have had to create an event called "Donations" so we can charge cards. That leaves the member profile not showing donations.

commentedWe are running a telethon and have many volunteers ready to process donations. Except we can record a donation but not take their money! Please revisit this option to charge credit cards (using Affinipay!) while in Admin view.

commentedPlease consider this option. We call to say thanks for last year's donations would you like to make your first donation for this year? And take the donation. There's no way to record it for them. Wait - was this request submitted 7 years ago?

commentedDonations are often paid by credit card. However, when an administrator tries to enter a donation only an invoice can be generated. There should be a credit card button within the donation page for manual entry by the administrators. This would really help!

commentedI absolutely agree! We get lots of offline credit card donations and renewals, and we would like to see a "Charge Credit Card" button on the Donations admin page so we can process it within Wild Apricot - instead of us processing the credit card donation offline and then manually entering info. Often times our members include additional donations with their membership renewal form. Right now we process the renewal first, charge the appropriate membership amount through WA, then go to Paypal's virtual terminal, process the donation, and go back to WA to enter donation amount so we can keep track of who donated when. Please consider adding the button soon!
