Display name of person registering for event automatically
Currently members have to check a box if they want their names to be shown.
We would rather have it the other way around.
have members check Box if they want to remain anonymous.

Actually - I like it the way it is - the nature of the group I run would lead to too many cliques and people not turning up to things just because someone they don't like is there and there is also the risk of folks following people to events like some kind of stalker type person (yes, it happens)
Perhaps the better option would be to have the option to choose whether or not you want them to show by default in some sort of master setting ......
OR, the workaround in the current system would be this:
I use a template to set my most common settings and create new events from it
Perhaps you could build a master event template that has this setting enabled and use it to create events with this setting by default.
