Reverse order of blog posts
Currently our blog posts appear in reverse chronological order, starting with the latest post at the top and the earliest at the bottom. Is there a way to make them appear in
straight chronological order? If you’re wondering why that’s necessary, it’s because our users post in this blog to advertise upcoming events at their organizations http://www.mail2web.com/cgi-bin/read.asp?mb=inbox&mp=I&mps=0&lid=0&ld=-1&lp=32000&mn=27&ed=02aKlU3gEk7dMfqaKt4PANY/iIu81W9lxOa2niRTYRQogVwdqpNVv4vniNdEFDFTcYU5H5/F9hzN
dttUIbaLgAf/a0PIWc3cNAEwuSlhxxeyzd+quUE34WlQZXoXovCUh9l6gLS1nTv0ZYqUiqL5# ...so, for instance, right now I want the June events to be at the top and the October events to be at the bottom.
Until you allow all page members (not just administrators) to create http://www.mail2web.com/cgi-bin/read.asp?mb=inbox&mp=I&mps=0&lid=0&ld=-1&lp=32000&mn=27&ed=02aKlU3gEk7dMfqaKt4PANY/iIu81W9lxOa2niRTYRQogVwdqpNVv4vniNdEFDFTcYU5H5/F9hzN
dttUIbaLgAf/a0PIWc3cNAEwuSlhxxeyzd+quUE34WlQZXoXovCUh9l6gLS1nTv0ZYqUiqL5# Events, this is the workaround that we’ve devised...we just need a little more control over the order in which the posts appear.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Is there any way to update the CSS code to force it to display in reverse?

You can determine the posting order by editing the blog posts and changing the dates.
But could we please have the ability to choose whether or not the date and/or the poster's name are displayed? Blog gadgets make a great announcement and news tool, but if all the posts come from "management" then the name is just a distraction and uses space.

We also post eventsof interest to our members (but not our events which use the event tool) in a blog and also would prefer this reverse feature so oldest posts are on top. Please look into this!

Will you soon post an update to say, we are working on a simple selection tool, which will allow you to display your blog posts in chronological or reverse chronological order? Sorting things and putting things in order is something we've been doing since long before computers were invented.... It's hard to imagine a life with computers devoid of this capability.
The reason I came here for this answer is; our blog module IS in chronological order! Which makes no sense to me, as a blog is more often seen in reverse chronological order, with the newest posts at the top.
Now I have to figure out how to subscribe to this forum, so I'll see updates to this topic!
Thank you for your help. Together, we can do anything!

Sorry we don't currently have a setting to change blogs to have a chronological ordering of posts.
