Provide event name on Financial documents
When using the Financial tab, it is difficult to tell the source of the transaction, other than the general "event registration". For events, it would be extremely helpful if the list displayed the name of the specific event. Now you have to open the transaction to see which event it is for.
This problem is even more apparent when viewing open balances from canceled registrations ---- WA does not record the source of the cancelation (except within the specific event). And since the invoice is deleted on cancels, there is no record in WA of the actual DATE of the cancelation --- just the original payment date is recorded.
We monitor the open balances, since we want to make sure the credits are correct and not due to event manager error, but it is cumbersome to find the original source of open balances resulting from canceled invoices.
When an attendee registration for an event is invoiced to someone else the attendees name does not appear on the paid invoice.
There name on the paid invoice would be a great help in record keeping.
At the moment (June 2013), in "Invoice" view, only the name of the person who did the registration is displayed. It would be hugely helpful if the person who was registered also displayed on the invoice. It is awkward having the flip back and forth between the registration record and the invoice to view full information on the transcation.
