Fast registration or Simplify buying registrations to multiple events or multiple registrations in one event
At the moment, it is not possible to register for multiple events at the same time, or link to the next event after registering for one event on Wild Apricot. This functionality would have been extremely helpful for a recent conference for Children's Hospital that we set up through you...would it be possible to add this feature?
(Malcolm de C) I represent two organisations where the ability to register for multiple events in a single visit would encourage more to registrations and reduce the burden on central administrators who are often asked to register for multiple events on behalf of members.
Perhaps from the List view of upcoming events it might be possible to add a check box to the dialogue box displaying the summary of the event. If there is then a general registration button that looks for all 'checked events' could it be possible to take the user through all 'checked' registrations. The problem, I believe, is always having to find your way back to the event list following each registration - not easy for everyone!
I merged another very similar thread into this one, they should be solved together – the registration to multiple events should be simple and fast if possible. There are a number of suggestions in comments on how to achieve this.

I would love to see the ability to have multiple registrations on a single invoice. My organization has a number of events with 2 to 3 registration types for a single event. For example, we may offer a senior, adult and child registration. Currently if a client wants to buy one of each, it's three different invoices. Having it all on one invoice would be highly desirable.

We have an event with three different registration types; adult, child, and senior. Is it possible for a guest to purchase one of each type in a single registration or must they purchase one of each in three separate transactions?

I would like for our members to be able to register multiple people (accounts) at the same time. If they are linked to the same company they should have access to register people from their company. This way it is recorded in each account that they are registered for the event and can pay all at once.

Allow registrants to choose more than one radio button instead of only allowing them one choice and then requiring the person to go back to the registration page and choose another option. This is wasted time for our customers and behind the time with what other websites have allowed for years.

We need to register almost 500 members to 40 events. It currently would take 20,000 transactions to do.

Could you please add a simple way for members to register their bundle member partners for events in a single transaction.
It is possible for a member to add a guest in a single transaction, but not another member, even one from their own membership bundle.
The 'workaround' of completing multiple transactions to achieve the outcome is neither elegant nor intuitive and rather defeats the purpose of having a cloud based computer system.
This issue of not being able to book partners and bundle members for events causes the most grief for our members and requires a lot of time to support or complete bookings on their behalf. It is also cited as an objection to us having implemented a computerised system and who would have us return to the days of the card index and postal order.

Improved staff registration workflow by allowing entry of multiple event registrations before generating the invoice.
ODU ILR has a quarterly model in which members subscribe to individual programs a la carte at the beginning of the quarter and prepay by check.
If i elect not to make an invoice, the event is deemed free for that instance.

I have worked around the mutable event registrations within an event by using the additional custom fields in the event registration form such as for additional guests (spouse, child, etc.) Golf, Tours, meals, etc..

Allow me to register for multiple events for my club at one time. Select from a list of events of the next month. Use the same email, name, etc.
As it is, it is very time-consuming and repetitious to register for the six or so events I go to every month. Could you stream-line the process? -

Agree with this and all other Wish Items regarding multiple registration types being available to one customer. We provide classes all year around and many customers register for 8 or 10 classes, but they have to go in 8 or 10 times to sign up for each one individually. If I could put them as registration types, and they could choose more than 1, this would alleviate the need for them to do this multiple times. This has been our number one and pretty much only problem with this software due to the way we do business.

There is no feature available to choose multiple registrations at one time. You have to go back in and re-register to make add-ons to your initial registration.

Registration with Mixed Registration Types - I often have members brining non-members to events. The (programming) logic within the registration module does not provide for one registration form to include multiple registration types. This results in an invoice with an incorrect balance due. Human intervention is then required to correct the invoice.

Yes please!
As the public registers for a particular event, it would be stellar if they could select multiple tickets selections in a single registration.
For example,
2 adult tickets ($20/adult)
2 children tickets (free)We want to track all event registrants, but having the children listed as entirely separate transactions throws off our record-keeping and attendance-tracking, since we won't necessarily check in the children separate from their adult guardian, come event time.
Thank you!

I agree with many of these comments. We need our members to be able to register free guests and paid guest for meetings. We would also like for members to be offered the registration options of free vs paid guests depending on what they have already used for the year. Example – Our “regular members” get one free guest per year and our “3 person corporate membership” gets 3 free guests per year, “4 person corporate membership” gets 4 free guests per year, etc. If they have used up their free guest passes for the year, they are not offered the free guest option when registering.

We have discussed this at many of our board meetings and folks are quite frustrated. It seems like this feature would make life easier for those trying to register for events.

For events with multiple registration options or sponsorship levels, it would be beneficial if the user could select more than one item during the registration process.

I would like to see the ability to register for an event and selecting various options such as sponsorship, attendance ticket, etc under one transaction rather than having to purchase each separately for the same event.

Our members register for multiple kids to take multiple programs for multiple weeks.
They fill out forms and we manually enter each registration (sometimes one family will make 24+ program registrations at one time 2 kids x 2 programs a week x 6 weeks of summer programs).
The administrator needs to enter all 24 registrations, create a separate invoice for each and close each invoice to the appropriate payment tender - a massive time consuming effort. If we could, as administrators, register the member for all programs then create 1 invoice and pay the 1 invoice under the appropriate tender that would be a massive time saver. I was personally involved in manually imputing over 1000 registrations in this manner this summer and it's very time consuming. Online they can pay for multiple registrations (max 4 it seems before the system barfs) on their own - the system closes each invoice automatically that way. -

kr3e - do I understand properly that you're talking about a single event with several registration types in it, and you want people to be able to register for several reg. types, not just one?
