Member to member messages
Current behavior:
Currently one member can contact another only outside of the system - and only if that member has disclosed his contact information (email/phone)
Desired behavior:
Members should be able to contact other members right on the site, without having to expose email addresses
Notes:
Messages can be forwarded to member emails - or displayed to each member when logged in.

I would like to use this feature instead of listing a customers private email address in their membership directory. My customers value their privacy.

Wouldn't it be nice to have members correspond privately without revealing their personal email addresses? I've seen this feature used on Dating Sites and thought it was a better way to protect our customers privacy. Any votes for this feature would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Member to member messaging would be great, especially through the forum module. I want to allow my members to organise activities via the forum, and this facility would be useful for the member organising the activity to send contact details to only those who are coming along to the event (rather than having to display them publicly).

We like the idea of member to member emails within the site, in part because we would like to allow members to opt out of the display of their email addresses. So two features, really.

No, we do not provide messaging or chat capabilities in Wild Apricot.
Forum module is being designed, expected release end of Q2.

Hello,
I'd like to know if it's possible for members to message one another. For instance, are they given their own "inbox". Also, do you offer chat capabilities? Can I develop forums?
