Change registrant visibility when moving from waitlist to registrants
Waitlist: When an event is full and a member puts themselves on the waiting list, the flag for 'Share registration: Show registration on event registrants list' defaults to NO. So when the person on the waitlist is moved to the registrants list, the person still shows up as 'anonymous user'. Please change this flag so that when someone is added to the waitlist, it clicks yes to 'Show registration on event registants list'.

There is way to change the default with JavaScript. I found the HTML of the checkbox with the Google "View page source" function, then created a content row in the "Event Details" system page and added the following code to the created content HTML. The next time a user joins the wait list the checkbox default will change to show visibility.

This has been a long time frustration and causes confusion and extra work. Please update the system to always default to YES unless specifically changed. Thank you for your support.

At our events, the hosts create nametags for everyone on the Registered list. If any of the participants were moved from the Waitlist, they show as "Anonymous" on the registered list and therefore don't get the necessary nametag. The only workaround for the host is to contact a website administrator to request the list from the admin-only area of the website. This is very inconvenient as our admins are only volunteers and may not be readily available.

This idea was marked as resolved, but it is not completely. Yes, the waitlist settings have been changed to work for the entire event (not individual registration types). However, the default is still to only collect name and email. Please make the default to collect full registration details. I always manage to miss this setting and it is a PAIN to deal with! I basically have to ask everyone on the waitlist to register again.
