Default email routing in Event settings
Automatically check "Copy emails according to email routing settings" by default similarly to Organization contact in Event settings instead of having to check it every time

Also an issue for me. I agree entirely with the complaint. And, the event email showing that it's following the systemwide email protocol isn't accurate. It should also tell you that the individual event email setup is sending admin email copies and provide a link to the edit screen where these boxes can be unchecked. Better yet, follow the systemwide protocol unless someone goes into edit to manually change an individual event.

Event emails....right now the default email settings for events are "Send copy to organizer" for event registration confirmation and event registration cancelled.
We don't want hundreds of emails for every time someone registers...we'd rather just log to see registrants. When I create a new event I have to either manually uncheck those boxes or click on copy emails according to email routing settings. I'd rather just have the ability to set a default option as we have multiple people creating events.
