Create store order by admin
It would be very useful if an Admin could create a store order on behalf of a member as we can do for invoices etc. At present only the logged on member can raise an order.

Ugh. I just realized that this is going to be an issue. It looks like it was first raised in 2018. Why hasn't this been addressed yet?

Agreed, we need the ability for an Admin to enter a store order for another contact/member.

Yes this is an important update as the store can be used to track SKU's of automatic distribution of materials. We want to use it to create orders for autmatic product fulfillment. We give out no charge items but need a tool to track who has received what.

Admin need to be able to create orders, and be able to assign to a contact.

This is very similar to the "POS (point of sale)" wish. We need a way to enter transactions as the seller/admin.

I agree with all the comments. If you are going to build a module to do a task like this, then it should have at best minimum basic functionality. For a software company as advanced as this one is, we are really, really, disappointed that an admin cannot do basic functions to a store order such as modify or place a new order on behalf of someone. Please fix this before releasing other "improvements"!

We really need the ability for an Admin to enter a store Order for another contact/member. So inventory and payments for that Order can be tracked in the system. Some of our members just can't do it online themselves. Currently, an Admin can only adjust the inventory.

Not all our members log into our WA site. For many activities, it's unnecessary. We still give members the ability send us checks and requests on paper or by phone to purchase items from the store. We need the ability to purchase items from the store as that member, rather than a proxy.

It is redonkulous that an admin cannot initiate a sale on behalf of a member or contact. I sell my membership directories, sometimes taking an order over the phone and sometimes in person. The fact that I have to
a) Create a new profile for a person
b) Login as that person and add the sale
c) Modify the invoice if I want to discount the sale for any reason
d) Issue an invoice for them to pay off of...That is so convoluted. And if they HAD a profile already, I wouldn't be able to do that. This should be a basic administrative function to be able to add an item for sale to a member/contact and then invoice them.

We haven't implemented online sales yet because we want to track all sales in a single system. We do a lot of phone and in-person orders, so we need to be able to enter those in WA.

I really need a way to create an order as well. We have only 100 items to sell. The database shows 96 available, as 4 were purchased online. But we don't really have that many left because some were purchased via cash at our lunch events. We have way less than that and this is becoming a nightmare. I don't want people buying online what doesn't exist in reality, because the count is wrong.
