allow a member to change their vote
in our elections which are run via paper ballots. At our annual shareholder meetings, members can submit a new vote over riding their mailed in ballot (based on information they recieved after they voted)

There is no reason why members should not be allowed to change their choices until the poll is closed. We use polls for many things. We prefer to keep all of our data together (on WildApricot) for tracking decisions historically, and also abhor platforms like Doodle for reasons of data security and privacy. Asa a result, we have been using polls to vote on board meeting dates. However, the inability to update votes is forcing us to resort to Doodle. }-(
