Event Registration - members with guests
Events Registration - program to have the linked registration function write the hosts name in the linked registration field if the host has guests. So the data export to an excel file can be sorted to assign sit together tables for table assignment?
host name ...... host name
host name ...... guest name
host name ...... guest name
The host name .... guest name write is already there, it just requires the host name .... host name write.
This is a definite requirement for clubs that have meetings with table seatings and would take a WA programmer 2 secs to change. Whereas users searching and manually updating cells for every event over and over can take forever.

We also need the ability to group registrations by table. I added a Host Table Name field in the registration that would allow the registrants to enter a free form Host name for grouping.
However I like the idea of using the linked registration approach. If the linking could be (optionally) enabled or selected during the registration process it would be great!
It would be great if the linked registrations could be visible on the Event Registrants screen along with options to filter and sort by the linked registration

I agree that the linked registration needs improvements so that the list of attendees can be sorted alphabetically by the host's last name, while keeping the host's guests grouped with the host. This is how we like to organize our Will Call List, check-in packets, name tags, etc. It's currently very tedious work in Excel to put it in the correct order. Even when the registration is for a single person, WA should still put their name in the linked registration field so that the whole list can be sorted alphabetically by host's last name.
