Renewing lapsed members who want to catch up overdue time
Ability to renew for multiple periods. Often members lapse then want to catch up. The system is set for a 1 year period but it would be great to be able to renew for say two years bringing the member up to current.
At the moment we have to fiddle with the due date if lapsed for over a year and it's really rather clunky!
This would be another work-flow improvement.

We routinely archive lapsed members who do not renew their membership because we are near the limit of our plan. Then weeks or months later, the archived and lapsed member logs in and pays the membership fee. It is an administrative nightmare for us because their membership status does not become active after their payment. The member is angry because they paid and are still lapsed.
