design a way to address emails and invoices to couples which do not have the same last name.

Our memberships that are couples have to be two contacts in a bundle.
I think Kate is asking for a macro that would produce the following strings:
If the bundle administrator and bundle member have the same last name - say John Doe and Jane Doe, then the string is "John and Jane Doe".
If the bundle administrator and member have different last names - say John Doe and Jane Roe - then the string is "John Doe and Jane Roe".
If there is no second member then the string is just the administrator's name - "John Doe".
Our workaround is to have a member field called "Address couple as" which holds this string, but we have to enter it for each membership.
If we ever get the ability to have two emails for one contact, with independent preferences for each email, then the only way to deal with this would be the workaround "Address couple as" field.

Hi Kate, can you please elaborate? I'm not sure I understand the problem you're to solve here.

This is very important to some of our members. At the current time we have to go through and modify all of the emails and invoices to them and also Excel spreadsheets that we generate for holiday card mailings, etc. it is about 60 bundles out of 360.
