Allow to publish events calendar so any person can add it to their own calendar program - e.g. ICS calendar publishing
Allow the publishing of an ICS feed. Google Calendar and Outlook can not read an RSS into a calendar. What users want is an integrated calendar on their desktop and phone. When an event is added group members see it in their calendar.

I would love for this to be available.. even just having a macro tag added to the template engine would be great... like {event_export_url} that would allow the user to click on the link to generate the ics and add to their calendar...

events calendar should offer up an ical feed option for consumers. Consider partnering with teamup.com and use their API it's pretty dern sweet

I'd vote for this a million times if I could.

Joel, in the meantime, you can add the ICS calendar file to the email announcements yourself, using the following instructions: https://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Adding+an+event+to+calendar+programs#Addinganeventtocalendarprograms-Emailingeventcalendarlinks

Please include "add to calendar" to event ANNOUNCEMENTS as our organization does not "register" participants. The method described to my by support is cumbersome...
* go to public view
* go to event list
* click on the event
* click on upper right "add to my calendar"
* SAVE the .ics file to your computer some place you can find it.
* go to admin view
* go to the event
* edit the event
* insert file
* browse computer for .ics file and insert it
