Event description editing textbox is too small
Better event detail edit mode display
The box to enter edit details about the event is truncated and doesn't give a good sense of how the description will look. Also there's no true event preview or "testing" feature to do a trial registration, very difficult to iron out registration bugs.

Widen the description field in the Event Setting. I can't measure and set the event page as I want to because they are not identical.

Also for events a (Google?) map function that inherits the location of the event address. At the moment I take a screen shot of the relevant Google map and insert that as an image with a link to the map in Google.

Some event fields have redundant information that can be used between events. For example we use the same event location for most events.
Furthermore our convention utilizes an event categorization and event numbering system.
Having additional fields that can be defined for custom use would be very useful to us.
Have presets of standard information for event fields would be useful.

I would really love an event preview so that I can see what it looks like without having it be made visible to the public.
If this feature would also allow you to test out the registration form as it would look to the public, not as an administrator it would be great.
Sometimes all the info we request in the reg form (type of meal, field trip choice, hat or no hat) is hard to visualize until you actually go in an try to register.
