We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them demonstrates how to send event attendance certificates as professionally looking PDF files.

If you want to add event to your calendar from member-facing page, then you could use mobile app for members. Each event there can be added to your device calendar in a single tap.

We already have a preconfigured integration scenario for WA + Google calendar pair and a similar one could be easily implemented for other calendars. Events are at the core of what most organizations do, so the data associated with them should be treated as a major item requiring data integrity. Allowing WA support to restore lost events should be a high priority.
