An error occurred while saving the comment Marti Mullen commentedWe use these pages as a way to present our member artists to the public and tie it to how we let members sell their art in our shop. The lack of customization abilities on this makes this very difficult for us.

An error occurred while saving the comment Marti Mullen commentedCustomizing this content is very important to us. Just one very simple example is that I would like to be able to label fields for display to the public differently than I label them when I need that label to make sense to the member entering their data when they signup or edit it.
While we have control over what fields do or do not show to the public or to members at the field level, this core information about our members is something we will want to draw on for many different pages and views of the data. Ideally, we need a member profile gadget that can be customized for how it will look on a particular page just like we can control the member directory.

Workaround from Beardo:
To restore the old authorization page look:
/* SOCIAL LOGIN BUTTONS HIDE */
.WaGadgetAuthorizationRequired .openAuthFormContainer {
border-right: none;
max-width: 0px;
padding-right: 40px;
display: none;
}/* PADDING TO SOCIAL LOGIN BUTTONS HIDE */
.WaGadgetAuthorizationRequired .authFormContainer {
padding-left: 0;
}To remove the login buttons from the member directory personal profiles (at the bottom):
/* MEMBER SOCIAL LOGIN BUTTONS HIDE */
#socialLoginContainer, #idSocialLoginContainer {
display: none;
}Just copy/paste the above and update your “user.css” file.

An error occurred while saving the comment Marti Mullen commentedI agree this is a really important change but see it as a little bit bigger issue than just continue shopping. We have pages that are not tied to the main navigation so we can present a store for a special event or sale. There are 3 pages in the store that are system pages we can see and edit but the rest of them, once checkout begins, are inaccessible to us. I essentially can't use any navigation, not main navigation, not breadcrumb navigation, without the user being able to get out of the special store pages. The continue shopping is critical. But also, feedback when the user puts an item in the cart needs to be better - most people will not think anything happened when they do add to cart and all that happens is the very tiny cart gadget increments.

An error occurred while saving the comment Marti Mullen commentedWe are in the same boat. Selling our members' art work. The store really wasn't designed to be this sophisticated but I think many organizations have needs that go beyond selling logo items for the member organization -- particularly now with online shopping being even more important due to the pandemic. You can see our shop at https://northshoreartistsleague.org. Then choose shop. I think our needs and the way we currently deal with it are almost identical to the original poster's request.

An error occurred while saving the comment Marti Mullen commentedWe are running a regular shop and special event shops. Our special event shops are not tied to the menu as they have their own branding. We need a way to navigate on the 3 system pages that does not take them to the root home page. This is a similar problem.

An error occurred while saving the comment Marti Mullen commentedWe really want this also. We are a league of artists and are selling member art work in the store. In order for the store to know who to email when a purchase is made, the member must add their own store products. But, there is no security level that allows us to let them only add or edit their own products and do nothing else.

I’m making this not just about events, but other lists too – this is a common usability problem.

We would really like to see this change. The current long text field type doesn't even allow us to enter a hard break to create a new paragraph. It does allow entry of a URL and correctly displays it as a link but I haven't been able to do anything else.
This is a real detriment to us in having good content in our member fields that we display to the public to provide information about our member artists.
