Custom metadata for events pages
I run 3-4 events a week and autopost these to FaceBook using the events page RSS and Twitterfeed. It works a treat except that the posts contain the same blurb and a title which I'm not too happy about (you can see what I mean here: https://www.facebook.com/MySocialCircle )
Is it possible, to customise the title for the event details pages? It seems to read as "organisation name - event title" as the page title, and the blurb appears to come from the events calendar page description meta tag.
Is it possible to change the description metadata dynamically (to take details from the event description) and perhaps customise the title (even if only to reverse the order)?
I realise that the way its displayed does have something to do with FB and the way it presents links now, but it would be so great if every time I shared a link via RSS feed that it didn't have the same old blurb.......
Anyone got any brilliant ideas?

I've posted a similar wish. Unfortunately even such sophisticated platforms as Wordpress and HubSpot don't support adequate page description. Although some sites might get away with one description (etc.) for every purpose, many sites will benefit from speaking to the user in the user's specific context. For example, a Search Engine Result Page description needs to explain what will be found and encourage a click. Once at the site, any description serves a different purpose and should be worded accordingly -- often very differently, with a different message. Ditto for titles. An H1, for example (although thankfully not one at WA) does NOT make a good file name or even page title.

Hello,
Since Wild Apricot currently does not have the ability to change meta tags for event pages, Facebook will see the default title and description tags. I don't believe there is any workaround that could change the title and description that is seen by Facebook.
I will move this post to our Wishlist forum so we can get feedback from other users regarding this request and possibly add it to our development queue.
Regards,
Omar

Just wondering if this has been posted in the right place? If not, can I get it moved to the correct forum thread please? I wouldn't have thought that this is too difficult to acheive - surely someone has a similar need or has managed a workaround? Anyone.....?
