Add Calendar-Only Events Without Registration Requirements
In Wild Apricot, it would be very helpful to have the ability to add calendar entries that do not require event registration. Many organizations use the calendar not only for registered events, but also for important dates such as holidays, meetings, deadlines, volunteer activities, office closures, and informational announcements. These calendar-only entries should be visible in the calendar view so members can see them alongside registered events, but they should not appear in the event registration widget or require any registration settings. This enhancement would provide greater flexibility for organizations that want to maintain a comprehensive calendar while keeping registration functionality limited to events where attendee sign-up is actually needed.
