Control over email notification for individual units in the online store
Hi, We'd like to be able to sell self-published books for our members. In order to streamline this we'd like to be able to stipulate a third party email to be notified of the particulars of sale, for each individual unit in the store.
That way the authors could remain responsible for delivery and we wouldn't have to collect all their stock and keep it here, or individually contact them every time a unit sells to ensure timely delivery.

This applies to us as an art society as well. We need to notify the individual member artists when their work sells in our shop so they can send it to the purchaser. This needs to be an automated email. Also implies that each item in the store needs an "owner" to be recorded.
