Improve UX for content management
Problem:
Non-profit would like to highlight information through a banner on the top of a page
Why?
Too much information is on wild apricot so members don't read all content
Why?
The person in charge of content only uses text and does not add images
Why?
There is no time to properly edit the text and add images
Why?
People send in content-change requests at last minute making content difficult to read and understand and often wordy
Why?
There is no easy to find repository of freely available images of members or the work the organization has done or stock photos to spice up the website
Possible Solutions:
- Add a banner feature (though it does not solve the root problem)
- Add content meter to encourage organizations to write less text
- Add features that facilitate adding images (connect with a stock photo repository like unsplash (they have an API so speak with your developers to figure out implementation details))
- Add a content pipeline feature where all organization officials can add to the content pipeline and content moderators are able to review the content and edit it accordingly (kind of like a kanban board for content (to do, in progress, in review, published))
