Have the ability to configure the look of the blog using the title and a thumbnail image vs showing the entire blog.

I am creating the first blog gadget for our site, and the way the posts are displayed is awful! Create a thumbnail that we can select from the images in our post, and allow us to create a teaser text for display. Use ANY other blog tool online for an example of how to do this right.

Yes please. The index to the WA blog gadget is not nice looking. I often put a photo at the top of my blog articles (which I can neither customize like the email editor nor a regular web page). These show up in the blog index as a partial picture above text and looks like doo-doo.
