Membership Pause Feature
Hi guys and girls,
In light of the current COVID19 situation, with various countries and their lockdown issues not allowing social activities, is it possible for you to implement a membership pause feature. Basically a one button feature allowing us to put all membership on hold until we then unhold and return to normal
Daniel, thanks a lot for posting this. This is something that we are considering right now to help our customers to deal with the current situation.
I already have several ideas in my mind, like:
- Update automatic actions in the renewal policy for keeping members in Active status: Stop generating invoices, Stop archiving lapsed members (or other action that you already have in this section)
- Extending the membership renewal date by import function.
So the question to you, what 'on hold' means for you? Keeping all your members active, don't push them to pay renewal dues? Or something really opposite? It could be different scenario for different organisations.
