Field for check number
We really need a field to record a check number when processing payments.

YES YES YES! This is cumbersome to enter manually for multiple payments. It could be labeled "Reference Number" so that it works for other payment types as well but not having to enter "Check #" on every payment would be a huge improvement!!!

Agreed. We receive a number of donations by check, and are typing the information in the comments box. There should be a way to capture that information when processing a payment.

Absolutely, we need a field to input a check number when paid by check, and to search for a check number.

We do! Our bookkeeper is just switching over to using Wild Apricot as well as Quick Books and this is her first complaint :/ Makes it difficult for her to think using Wild Apricot will be worth the hassle.
