  2. Incidents of Internal error messages on event and membership forms

A number of clients have reported "Internal error" messages when trying to register for event or use membership application form.

Our team is investigating this and we expect to resolve this in the near future.

In our own tests this works correctly on all the client sites so this indicates and issue with our server farm - meaning that this error will affect a portion of your visitors while others will have no problems processing transactions.

We will post updates here as soon as we have any news.

    Dear clients,

Our datacenter is undergoing some upgrades and this requires moving all our servers to a new physical location.

This move is scheduled for night of Friday 19th at 11pm EST

Expected downtime for Wild Apricot service is 3 hours.

Please make sure to log out in advance.

This migration has been planned extensively over the past 6 months and the procedure has been rehearsed and timed on test equipment to verify duration and to test procedural order and contingencies.

  4. Problems with link tracking in emails

We have a number of reports from our clients about problems with link tracking in emails

    (see http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Tracking+link+click-throughs )

It looks like this feature is malfunctioning for a number of clients.

We are investigating this and will release a fix as soon as we can - but for now we advise to refrain from using link tracking feature.

  6. Wild Apricot accounts not being updated after credit card payment

We are experiencing a glitch in the billing system and some credit card payments from 10 Dec 2014 onwards did not automatically update the corresponding accounts. We are manually updating all the affected accounts, in the meantime please do not resubmit payments that appear to have "failed". We hope to resolve this as soon as possible, we apologize for the inconvenience.

  7. Norton Internet Security malicious warning message

Some people using Norton Internet Security have reported being blocked when they attempt to access their Wild Apricot site. They get a warning message about accessing malicious site. We had some people opening new Wild Apricot accounts and trying to usу them for 'phishing'.

Instead of putting the malicious warning message on those specific sites only (these sites have already been taken down), Norton is putting the warning message on ALL Wild Apricot sites. We have since contacted Norton to report the error on their part and we are now waiting for them to remove this warning on our sites.…

  11. Problems accessing Wild Apricot sites for some clients

Beginning at 7:30 am EST (20 July) some clients have reported having problems accessing their Wild Apricot sites. It appears this issue is affecting clients in certain areas only, and depending on where you are located (and which network you are on) you may or may not experience any problems. We are currently working on this issue and we will keep you posted as soon as this is resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  12. Saving email templates with complex formatted text wipes out the email template

Our recent update on Sep 4th has introduced a bug into saving email templates - e.g. any automatic email like event announcement.

If you add any complex HTML code into a template (e.g. by using a copy from a predesigned email template function) and save it, the email template in question is wiped out - saves as empty.

We are testing a fix and expect to publish it overnight to Monday Sep 10th.

For now, please refrain from editing/saving email templates with any kind of complex HTML (= tables, formatted text, pictures etc.). (If your template does not have any…

  13. Not able to save pages with multi-column layouts

Our hot-fix earlier today unfortunately resulted in the page editor not working properly, and you may not be able to save pages with a multi-column layout (In our tests single column layout pages appear to be working fine). We are currently working on this issue we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  15. [UPDATED] Hardware maintenance Oct 20th 2 am EST

We are ramping up our hosting infrastructure (servers/firewalls/switches etc) to increase the speed and reliability of Wild Apricot system.

Installation and configuration of some additional hardware will be performed on Oct 20th at 2am EST - the night of Wednesday to Thursday.

Total maintenance window is scheduled to be up to 90 minutes. During this time we will be switching off our web servers one by one to configure them, approximately 10-15 minutes per servers. Any users currently routed to that specific server would be disconnected and lose their session data (e.g. application forms/registration forms/email or page edits etc.).

    We…

  16. Network connectivity problems evening of Sat Oct 1st 2011

Around 5:30 pm EST today our monitoring systems have noticed problems with network connectivity to our servers (intermittent routing problems).

This meant that Wild Apricot websites would take long time to load - or even not load at all.

We have immediately contacted our data center provider, they confirmed the problem and they were already working on it.

As of now, at 8:30 pm EST it looks like like normal connectivity has been restored.

Depending on a server and your location, our monitoring systems indicate downtime between 40-60 minutes.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will be investigating the cause…

  17. Sporadic connectivity problems between 9:30 am Est and 10 am EST

A number of clients have reported to us a problem accessing their Wild Apricot sites in the time period from 9:30 am and 10 am.

We have investigated this and found that while all our servers were up and running during that time and accessed fine from our own locations and by most clients, our monitoring systems did register connectivity issues from several regions, including US Midwest and Australia. It looks like our hosting provider experienced some malfunction with their network connectivity from certain locations - but everything was back to normal as of 10 am EST.

    We will be…

  18. "Resource not found" message is displayed instead of a website

After the recent update some users experienced a problem accessing their website - "Resource not found" message was displayed instead.

This is related to an update we have just published which included an urgent security patch from Microsoft.

This problem only affects some computers where people were logged in as administrators before the update. All other users are accessing your website just fine.

To clear this up, please delete the cookies in your browser and log in again.

    Sorry about the inconvenience.

  20. Temporary malfunction of image upload for some clients

Several clients have reported today problems uploading pictures to their websites. (Documents and other file types were being uploaded just fine)

Our investigation eventually traced this down to a particular web server (Thus this problem affected only a certain proportion of clients who happened to be routed to that server).

We have now removed this server from our server farm and all sites are being served by the remaining servers and problem is no longer present.

    We apologize for any inconvenience.
