An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI see that you created another idea about Q&A forum, I commented there.
https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/13616820An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThank you for the comments. By its nature, this is a wishlist forum where we collect as much comments as we can from our clients. When it's time to act on them, we use the comments for our analysis and design. For now, we're busy with something else, sorry.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThen I'm confused and not sure what you're asking for. Can we go differently? What is your scenario, not based on Wild Apricot limitations? What is it you're trying to achieve? What kind if subscriptions you have and what kind of events? Based on this information, we will be able to translate all that into Wild Apricot terms and design required changes.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIf your "level of achievement" is defined as a membership level, then in events you can restrict particular registration type for a membership level. Would it work for you? See "Availability" setting in registration type form - http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Registration+types+and+settings#Registrationtypesandsettings-Addingaregistrationtype

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedDelayed a little again - development team us busy with finalizing Events waitlist feature and did not have enough resources to make good progress to fit into December.
Walt: it's very hard for us to shift focus all the time. We've started development and we have some design in mind; changing it would be hard for the whole development team. So we will continue as planned, but with delay.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThe suggestion is about logins, not downloads. I'm afraid, we will not cover downloads - consider adding a new suggestion about it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commented@Nicole - that was quite loud :)
For now this suggestion is sitting here in the forum, collecting comments and votes. An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedLisa, currently this is per membership level option and cannot be combined in a single level (allow to pay on a recurring basis or not). I have merged your comment to existing wishlist thread.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI think the better approach is to actually solve the issue you mentioned - to allow a level to have both recurring and non-recurring payments.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThat makes total sense, thanks for comments.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedCould you please explain in more details? We have recurring payment setting on a level that forces to use recurring payments when applying for the level. Do you suggest to make it optional so that member can decide whether he wants to pay recurringly or just once?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedthere is "Add to my calendar" button in event details - for members or visitors. Is this what you need? Or something else?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI'd like to hear comments form others.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedEvent organizer already receives emails, see http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Setting+up+events#Settingupevents-Changingtheeventorganizer
But not for waitlist entries, this is a different suggestion. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedHi, thanks for sharing your idea. Can you please elaborate what is the problem you're trying to solve here? Why would members without any other admin access benefit from having an access to sent emails history?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedYou can easily insert an iframe into any wild apricot web page. Just add HTML gadget to a page and in the gadget add iframe with required parameters.
Or did you mean something else?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedRick, where did you see that the roadmap shows that? Here is the roadmap: http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Product+roadmap

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThank you, Shelbi!
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIn our current situation with Roadmap 2014 http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8827717-roadmap-2015-plans-releases-expected-dates , there is no chance that we can release "Idea 2" - embedding gadgets into email composing screen same way as we're doing it in page editing in the new version 5.
BUT! We still have capacity to implement idea 1 - just adding several new macros, that cannot be previewed right away when one is composing email, but can be previewed before sending the email.
We believe that "macro" approach will still add some value, while not the best option in the long run. Would you agree or you would rather wait for the "proper" implementation?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNo, no updates.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWe are releasing big update into our website module in this year. As soon as we are done with that, we can start making other changes related to content editing, working with gadgets, etc. So this will have to wait for now, I'm really sorry to say that.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIdea 1.
Create special macro like {UPCOMING_EVENTS_SUMMARY}, {RECENT_BLOG_POSTS}. When admin composes email, he just inserts the macro into email body and system transforms it into special table with events or blog posts. Problem here is that admin cannot see and control the content of the macro - system does it automatically when sending email.
Idea 2.
Use same approach as during content page editing. Add new button into email composition top panel - next to Macro button - called "Insert gadget". When clicked, it shows list of available gadgets like events, blog posts, etc. Admin click on any of them and system adds into email corresponding data as a static content - so admin can edit it (add some comments, erase unneeded events, etc.). Once added into email, the content is not updated anymore.
Comments? Other ideas?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedCurrenty, as an administrator you can receive an email notification when someone registers for an event - this will notify about all registrations. You can potentially setup email rules on your email client to highligh particular registrants. Would it work for you? If not, why and how do you this special email notifications on particular contacts working together with general event registrations notification?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThere a number of event related search criteria in contacts advanced search. Like "Registered for specific event(s)", "At least one event registration status", etc. Do you need something else?
There is no signature function, but we have "Rules and terms" field type that can play this role.
