Even though it is not a direct implementation, I hope this could be helpful:
We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy google calendar events into WA events. So if you share a google calendar for events submission, then the scenario could copy submitted events into your Wild Apricot account.

Hello everyone,
I've been working on this idea for a while, and most of you have described the same trap. You need a volunteer to run one or several events, and the only way to let them is to hand over your whole contact database and your finances. But there are different events and different needs. So I'd like to test the shape with you before we build it.
The idea is to maintain the current role of Event Manager, which currently grants access to all events. However, you can also limit this access and assign the person to specific events by choosing from one of three levels of access:
- Check-in assistant - welcome people at the door, handle walk-ins. Sees their assigned events and who's registered. Checks people in, signs up whoever turns up, takes payment at the door. Cannot edit the event or its registrations.

An error occurred while saving the comment Our organization also has each event run by a different Chairperson. I can only give them view-only access, but that means if there is are mistakes in a registration, I have to fix every one myself and cannot delegate to the appropriate chair. Being able to control what kind of access a person gets for a specific event is extremely important!

An error occurred while saving the comment It would be nice to be able to enforce limits on a single member's registrations for an event. i.e. each member could only register five people for a specific event.

A subdivision of Event Manager would work for us. As a non-profit, we have volunteers chair all our individual events. Right now, with the all-or-nothing Event Manager title, they could accidentally mess with each other's events. The google calendar isn't really a fix for us since not all of our members have google accounts.
