Send order status to PayPal
PayPal is starting to get tough on users (sellers) which do not provide tracking information and/or order status - resulting in monthly limits on how much can be transferred out of PayPal without a 21 day hold being applied. Is there a way for Wild Apricot to send an "Order Completed" message to PayPal for payments - I think store purchases could be excluded. PayPal do not get the idea that a membership "order" is completed instantly.
1 voteWe have reviewed this request with PayPal and I have a following update:
1. There's no way to set purchase completed via API in PayPal
2. Any account holds set by PayPal are not directly related to incomplete orders. Each case should be resolved with PayPal individually.

Charging with saved payment details
Implement AffinPays cahrging with saved payment details feature: You can store customer credit card and bank account details for future use, such as scheduled billing or re-populating form fields following a rejected transaction due to validation errors. After you create a saved card or bank, you can create a charge with a saved card.

Provide a dedicated Tender for Square payments
Provide a dedicated tender for Square payments: “Online payment (Square)”. (I have to go through all the square payment transactions and manually change the tender just so that I can use the “tender” value to limit a display or export to only Square transactions.)
2 votesStarting the 3.2 version of the admin app, all payments via Square POS get a special tender automatically.

Provide option to turn off Stripe email receipts
We're using Stripe for payments. When a member pays, they get two redundant email receipts, one from Wild Apricot and another from Stripe. I would like you to provide an option to disable the Stripe email receipts, because 1) they are redundant and noisy, 2) they can't be customized like WA email receipts, and 3) they can't be turned off from with Stripe.
I've not tested any of the other payment systems, but I think it would be good to provide this option, in general, so all of the email confirmations can be controlled from with Wild Apricot.
12 votesWe won’t force sending payment receipts anymore starting from 5.12.2 release. You can control this yourself in Stripe notifcation preferences or use WA payment receipt instead.

Help guides
Update your stupid content.Jesus Christ.I have spent ages trying fathom out stuff but your help pages don't reflect the actual content on the website, especially the payments part. All i wanted to do was integrate a payment processor but after following the instructions the page i arrived at wasn't the same as in the tutorial. For this reason I will not be signing up as you have wasted enough of my time as it is.

Add a reminder/warning to the PayPal payment screen that payment is not made until the Pay Button is clicked.
We are having a problem with users not completing the payment screen. I have attached a screenshot. Quite a few of our users believe they have completed their purchase after entering their PayPal information when they are brought back to this screen. They are required to click on the blue button to confirm the payment. Is there a way for us to customize this page to make it more apparent to the user that an additional action is needed? Thanks in advance for your help.

reduce number of emails when renewing online
When our members renew online, the default is to send them 4 separate emails.
- one email saying your member renewal has been initiated but not paid yet
- one email showing the invoice
- one email showing the payment receipt
- one email confirming that renewal was completed successfully
People get so many emails already, and this seems like an unnecessary number for what could be a simple transaction. Is there to combine some of these emails? Maybe the first two could be combined into one, and then the second two could be combined into one, so that they only receive two emails…

Stripe payments don't include member names in details
Payments made into Stripe don't include the member name, and whilst the audit log does include the Stripe ChargeID it doesn't seem searchable.
If you know a Stripe payment how do your relate it back to a member?

Store Credit Card Information
Hi
Please add the capability to use the stored credit card feature of Authorize.net! Our members very much want this capability and it would increase our attendance at events. We need this for membership renewal, events and donations. Authorize.net has the interface well defined but Wild Apricot hasn't implemented the capability.
It would be OK to implement it in a way that your partners could provide us the capability rather than have it fully automated into Wild Apricot.
I hope others will comment as I've seen this asked for in the past.
Thanks
Kathy
9 votes“Store credit card information” udpate is now live and availalbe for all Wild Apricot payment users.
Your members can store their credit card details in Affinipay’s secure vault and use to make next payments with single click. -
Add AffiniPay gateway
Request to please include include integration with AffiniPay’s new gateway “ChargeIO." We've done our pricing, and while AffiniPay is available through Authorize.net, the more affordable option is to directly work with AffiniPay.
Thank you,

Please Fix "Bug" re recurrent payments ASAP
Am using authorize.net and the main reason we joined Apricot was the functionality of setting up recurrent payments. Turns out it's true that you work with authorize.net and its true that you offer recurrent payments; however the software presently only allows the customer to setup recurrent payments from an e-mail and does NOT allow the administrator to do so on their behalf - this creates a need for a number of additional steps including sending the invoice by e-mail to the administrator, downloading the e-mail, and then creating the recurrent level and payments through the e-mailed invoice. Am told this…

Stripe Credit Card Processor integration
It would be great if WA could integrate with either Forte, Stripe or Rerun. These are all highly secure credit card processors that can handle reoccurring charges and don't have any monthly minimum or monthly fees.

Accept onsite credit card payments - e.g. using Square Up
We hold an annual conference and accept onsite registrations. Currently, we are able to register attendees onsite in Wild Apricot and then we email them an invoice so they may use a credit card to pay online. We use PayPal for our online payments. We are wondering if we would be able to link our payment system to one of these little “square up” card readers that you use with an iPhone so we can just swipe cards rather than ask people to complete an additional step by paying online.

PayPal Here integration was moved to separate topic. If you prefer PayPal Here integration, please vote for it here: http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/18077188

Customization: Adding "Pay Offline" option to payments screen
One of the changes we made in last release (4.3) was to remove the 'offline payment' option for invoices. Unfortunately this caused problems for some of our clients so we're working on solution as I write this message.
However in the mean time you can use this customization created by our Nerdy Apricot Omar to insert a custom Pay Offline button and message.
To use this workaround simply copy and paste the entire code below into your Global Javascript (see http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Settings#SiteSettings-GlobalJavascript .
Once inserted you can custom the label of the button and message by editing the value of btnText…

Have PayPal Pro notify members with recurring payments about credit card failure [9337]
When a member signs up for our service with recurring payments their email is not sent to Paypal Pro to notify them when/if there is a credit card problem.
Please either:
Automatically port it to Paypal Pro based on the email address they used to sign-up with previous to payment options.
Allow us to make email a required field in the payment process.

Members to update Credit Card details for recurring payments - e.g. expired card
We have a membership(subscription) based business (www.studyleadership.com) utilizing your service. Ninety-five percent of our business is based on recurring credit card payments, so managing credit card numbers and expiration dates becomes a huge chore if we have to do it manually.
Because there is no current interface for our customers to update their credit card information when a payment does not go through, we need to send an email and then get on the phone to gain their credit card info securely. With hundreds of members, this seems to be a very unneeded hassle. It costs us a…
36 votesI’m glad to announce that we have released this update in v. 5.10.
Any member on recurring level can now update credit card at any time. To prevent recurring payment failures we remind users about credit card expiration 2 weeks before the date (Administrators can customize this email or disable it completely).
Need to note, that updating credit card works only for Stripe, Authorize.Net, Moneris and PayPal PayFlow Pro payment gateways. For payments from PayPal Standard & Express Checkout update credit card and expiration messages are handled by PayPal itself.
We have a bunch of other improvements in 5.10. Check out our release notes! https://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Release+5.10

Different payment options for events/membership
In release 2.3.4 you added the manual payment option which is valid for all payment types.
I would like to be able to make the manual payment option open to the few hundred people who are the membership but not make it available to the thousands who sign up for events.
I do not have a need to have it selectable at each membership level or for one event or another - just events vs. members. Any chance?
