Even though it is not a direct implementation, I hope this could be helpful:
We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy google calendar events into WA events. So if you share a google calendar for events submission, then the scenario could copy submitted events into your Wild Apricot account.
You can try this integration by this link https://www.integromat.com/en/integration/2275-copy-google-calendar-into-wild-apricot-eventsAn error occurred while saving the comment Ian Hutchings commentedAgree that restriction on membership levels is adequate control and overview by administrators is not required.
Would be good to have a few more details that could be added, just simple "choose from a drop down field" originally defined by admin would suffice.Lets look forward to an initial release rather than too much initial finesse
An error occurred while saving the comment Ian Hutchings commentedSo do we have any idea on release timing? The design concept has been promoted since 2015! Is there still a roadmap?

Could it be done by Event Creation being initiated from a Site Page which is only accessible to pre set member types/restrictions as is done now under "Page Access Level"? At present Admin need to create all events.Ian Hutchings supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Ian Hutchings commentedIt would be useful to have added custom fields for an event which a WA subscriber can give custom headings to, and for these custom fields to have various value attributes (rather like is done for a Membership Field). This gives much more value than just hoping things are covered in the description (which is not really the right place anyway).

An error occurred while saving the comment Ian Hutchings commentedSupport for direct internet bank transfers such as POLi used in AUS and NZ would let those who don't have or wont use credit cards online to make payments. Avoids manual scanning of bank account and reconciling payments to WA invoices.

Sorry for the late update.
The first step was finished and emails can now be carbon copied to contact’s alternative emails. To do so the contact fields which store the alternative emails must be explicitly marked on the email setting page.
Unsubscribing will unsubscribe all alternative emails simultaneously because they all belong to the very same account. The person clicking “unsubscribe” is warned about this on the unsubscribe page.
For now we paused the development of this feature. but not for good. :) So I’m changing this wish status back to “collecting comments”.
Thank you everyone for a valuable feedback.

Adding an Event Organiser Email would be desirable, as well as Event Organiser Full Name
