We would not want to give our members the ability to simply cancel their membership without notifying the Admin. Our members have various responsibilities and commitments to our organisation, so removal of their membership needs to be managed by Admins. A simply "request to cancel membership" button would suffice - thus allowing the Admin to either "Approve" (which results in archiving the member) or "Action" (which allows the Admin to do whatever further actions are necessary before archiving them).

I know, the Polling feature is now in Beta which is fantastic. But we want everything at once, don't we? :)
Once the polling feature is deployed, it would be fantastic to have it available on mobile (perhaps through an email interface instead?).
So many people only use their mobile these days - though there is a web browser on the mobile phone - so they could access the poll that way I guess. Thanks.Debborah Kerr supported this idea ·

Hello, thanks for the feedback and support of this idea.
We’re currently working on the text messaging service connected with your Wild Apricot account.
The new service will allow you to send the text message to the specific contact or send the campaign to the group of contacts. It will cover the typical scenarios like reminders for members, updates for event attendees, follow-ups with email non-openers, etc.
We’re going to start providing the service for customers in US and Canada and later consider other countries, like AU and UK.
More updates to come soon! Thanks again for your support!

I think there are lots of service providers that can be used, instead of embedding this feature within Wild Apricot.

I really think that, as this is a Members App and obviously only members are using it - they already know what organisation they are a member of, the addition of organisation branding should be much lower down the priority list. It's a 'nice to have', not a need. Lets focus on things that matter.

We also need to be able to print member ID cards - so exporting some key contact details PLUS their profile picture.

Provide an "Export / Download" function from the Directory page. So when a users searches, or filters, the membership to display a certain list of members, they can then download that list to excel.

I currently use Batch Geo to plot members on google maps. I export my members into a spreadsheet, then upload the spreadsheet into Batch Geo. It would be great to incorporate this type of feature in Wild Apricot.

We need to know if a member changes their phone number or address, so would like a notification sent to the Administrator whenever certain member details are modified.
Alternatively, could we export an extract of member details based on a last modified date field?
This is important - that Access to Poll Results be available to FULL Account Administrators ONLY.
Currently, people with 'read only' and Membership Manager roles can see Poll Results.
We have people who need Membership Manager role so they can update member details. But they should not be able to see Poll Results.
Polls are for sensitive elections and should not be considered in the same category as Membership Manager, or viewing membership details.
I attach a mockup of the Admin roles screen.
PLEASE, restrict access to Poll Results to Account Administrator (Full Access) role ONLY. As soon as possible, pleeeease!
