I don't want Wild Apricot's unbecoming unsubscribe link on my emails when I already have a unsubscribe message. No I'm not using the macro because I don't want a 50 character link at the bottom of the screen. I want it to look exactly the way I have it but yet Wild Apricot still feels the need to add theirs which just pushes all the email continuity out the window and sticks out like a sore thumb.

I had this same thought with the COVID issues regarding my health club. It's one thing not to get emails on a regular basis. You should still be able to email people in an emergency. @Bernard Charles, Even when you unsubscribe from a store's email, you still get emails about orders . Therefore, people can still get emails of a certain category such as terms of conditions and privacy policy changes, or emergency blasts.

It's 51 votes now.
I have all my social media images in a line at the bottom of my emails. We just added YouTube but I can't add the YouTube image with the other logos because of this new editor. It also took me forever to get the text font and size to be the same when before it would have take 2 seconds to fix it using html. The only email option I need is a template where I can set a header and footer and only have to change the body each time yet that is the one thing they didn't give us. We also can't easily change system emails because they aren't all in one place. Yet, we have this new editor. I hope it NEVER gets rolled out for events.
For those that need text wrapping they posted a "workaround". A workaround that takes infinitely longer than just inserting an image where you want it.

Typically removing a person from the waiting list means that you are registering them or that they can attend. Leaving a person on the waitlist means they can't attend.
Therefore, it would be nice to have something that tells a person automatically that they have been removed from the waiting list (like a check box that sends the person an email and adds them to the registration list), but not for what you want which isn't how waiting lists work.

As Mark mentioned, my organization created admin-only "Templates" for each event type but it is primarily for registration information. We keep them on top by changing the dates to Dec. 31, of 2099.
It sounds like you all want, essentially Word Fields, where it prompts you for each thing and you just fill it out as you go. Custom Macros would work but you'd have to have somewhere to input the information on the event page, plus be able to edit the event page to show this information and the event page is a system page. The custom macro would only work in the event email announcements as you could set up the email the way you want.

I agree. I needed to send an email at 10 in the morning so as not to interfere with another email going out and had to do it manually. Setting a time shouldn't be that hard if you can set a day.
Same for other things like cancellation by member or closing the event.

Thanks for sharing the code. I've wanted to do this for a long time but didn't know how. Just an FYI, you don't need the quotation marks, just

Adding quotations puts the quotations in the subject. It also changes them into the html code %22 in the link box.

I am constantly needing to check the site while I'm away from a computer. The worst is the Update Notice that pops up and obscures the entire page and you can't even close it because you can't see it on your screen. Once you get past this, it's impossible to do anything else and typing text doesn't usually work. If it does, the frame of the page often disappears if you have to do something else on your device so you can't save or cancel.

The way you do this is simple. Make the event Member Only. Then in order to register, they have to do membership first. Then they get the "member rate" for the conference when they complete the registration.

The purpose is to prevent a stolen credit card from being used but it should only ask for zip code as verification. Not that you need that at say a grocery story, but if that is the purpose, then just ask for zip code.
