This is my problem too. WA is very accommodating to set up a clone, or sandbox site, but we will need to reproduce all of the changes made back on the old site. Hope this can be expedited!
The widget code that allows us to post blog/news summaries and events summaries on other pages is great, but it does not work in system-generated emails. Is it possible to create a gadget that we could post in email blasts to send out to members?
I would like to see both an employment opportunity function exactly as outlined in your post.
In the same vein, I would also like to see a "classified" feature that could be used by companies seeking services from our member organizations. If they can post opportunities (ie requests for proposals, requirements specifications etc.) that would be received by our members, we would increase the membership value proposition.

So if you share a google calendar for events submission, then the scenario could copy submitted events into your Wild Apricot account.

We would like to enable selected membership levels to add their own events to our events calendar.
We would anticipate that some of the features of the events admin page would not be available - such as enabling registration, payments, listing registrants options etc.
