An error occurred while saving the comment John Schroeder commentedPerhaps it is my lack of familiarity with WA. Is there a way a member, any member, can log in and 'opt-in' to a Special Interest Group?
Then, is there a way that an email can be directed to just this SIG, without having to create and manually update the Mailing List Groups?
I will scan your links for hints.
An error occurred while saving the comment John Schroeder commentedWe are a sports oriented club. Within the club there are groups with certain interests. For instance, one group is interested in skiing, and other is interested in kayaking. Individuals may be interested in one, the other or both.
I want a way to let the members segment themselves according to their special interests. Then we might assign leaders to each special interest who can then email (blast) just those interested in that topic. As the leader of, say, the kayak group I can avoid blasting those who do not kayak.
A bonus might be to allow members to opt-in or -out of a SIG independently or upon assignment by the Administrator. This way we could have open and restricted SIGs.

Sorry for the late update.
The first step was finished and emails can now be carbon copied to contact’s alternative emails. To do so the contact fields which store the alternative emails must be explicitly marked on the email setting page.
Unsubscribing will unsubscribe all alternative emails simultaneously because they all belong to the very same account. The person clicking “unsubscribe” is warned about this on the unsubscribe page.
For now we paused the development of this feature. but not for good. :) So I’m changing this wish status back to “collecting comments”.
Thank you everyone for a valuable feedback.
John Schroeder supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment John Schroeder commentedWe have three membership levels; Individual, Couple and Family. Our membership database holds the primary and secondary name and email addresses for Couple and Family memberships (spouses or partners). But an email from WA will only go to the Primary member. The secondary information is not usable within WA.
Case in point, two members of one family are enrolled as a Couple. Both have volunteered to be on our 'Board'. Each is a full voting member. I would like to be able to email each of them individually. But because they are both registered within one Membership I can only email ONE of them. I can not even flag the other as a Board Member. The secondary member is a non-person, so-to-speak.
Please make it so that the secondary member can be emailed and otherwise flagged as though they were a member in their own right.

We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy Wild Apricot events into google calendar. So you can share this google calendar and you members can subscribe to it.
You can try the integration by this link https://www.integromat.com/en/integration/2276-copy-wild-apricot-events-into-google-calendar

The back of our our Membership Cards display our affiliation with a regional Ski Club. That affiliation offers members discounts on lift tickets and more. So we must 'print' our cards, front and back. It would be great if you could print all cards onto standard perforated business card stationary such as from Avery. Then we could print the Council logo on the back and distribute them at our meetings and , as a last resort, by mail. I know, kind of old fashioned. But that is what we have to do to allow our members to take advantage of these discounts.
